About the Author

As an artist, mother, and teacher, Sultonah Scott draws inspiration from a multitude of sources, including and not limited to the inner workings of her mind, African artistry, the bold neon colors of Lisa Frank, and even pop surrealism. She enjoys creating pieces, from abstract patterns to stylized portrait illustrations that feature intricate details and bright colors. Her goal is always to leave the viewer to create their own hypotheses of the subject matter, while portraying a whimsical sense of youth through radiant, eye-catching mediums.
