On Economics
Or, Topics About Which I Know Next to Nothing

An invisible hand becomes
More conspicuous.

It squeezes itself opaque.

Tighter, it’s clearer.
Tighter like suffocation:
Drowning dry.
Turns blue
Turns black

As coal—

A diamond
On a ring
On the finger
Of an invisible hand.
