C. R. Grimmer (her/her/they/them) is a poet, teacher, lecturer at the UW in Seattle, and host of The Poetry Vlog, a social justice YouTube channel discussing (political) connections between queer, anti-racist poetry and pop culture reading and analysis. She has an MFA, MA, and Ph.C. and is finishing her dissertation. Poems have appeared or are forthcoming in a variety of journals, from The Gold Man Review and Drunken Boat to The Portland Review. Scholarship on contemporary queer and race theory can be found in journals such as The Comparatist. The Harlan Hahn Disability Studies Fellowship partially funded the completion of her manuscript, The Lyme Letters.
