ideas for what to do with my body when it dies on my birthday:

stuff my mouth with the yellow streamers from the attic.

braid turquoise ribbon into my hair

the way aunt debbie likes.

drive me around the block with my window rolled down.

play any song my father sang when he was young.

beat my face. bake it. make me pretty.

use stunna one last time.

bury me anywhere that isn’t a graveyard.

let a tree be my gravestone.

I took up too much space when I was alive

let me take no space as a corpse.

or maybe don’t bury me at all.

maybe take me to the house I grew up in.

flatten me on the dining room table. set me on fire there.

blow me out and make a wish.
